Hands on Cable Harness Course designed to compliment IPC/WHMA-A-620 training.
Students Receive class:
All tooling and kits for this course are included in the cost of the training session.
This is a 5-day course, which includes 90% hands on instruction and performance requirements to IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 standards and 10% lecture and demonstration on wiring techniques and proper use and setting of hand tools.
Students will build a cable assembly after instructor demonstration, which will include the ability to:

- Harness Assembly Documents and Instructions
- J.E.T.S Certificate of Completion

- Read and interpret Wiring Diagrams
- Perform Harness Layout
- Understanding bend radius requirements
- Assemble and solder wires into connectors
- Crimping contacts, (Open and Closed Barrel) lugs, stamped /machined Contacts, and Coax
- Securing and bundling wires using tie wraps, lacing, spot ties
- Proper usage of tooling
- Wire stripping- Thermal and Mechanical
- Measuring
- Continuity Testing
- Splicing
